I have watched this movie over and over whether I was scrutinizing scene after scene or just had it playing in the background while drawing or reading. Just like the reviews I have released on Macross: Do You Remember Love and Macross Zero this Anime stands up to some of the best stories and art in the industry. This chapter takes place 60 or so years after Macross: DYRL and has the same flare as its predecessors at least timeline wise. In my opinion the story on par with the other two reviews but the art is as good if not better as Macross: DYRL, but not on the same foothold as the beautiful Macross Zero. This is a must have in any Anime collectors hands and should be viewed by all that hold this art form dear to them.

With this series you can not only get the movie on DVD, there was two series released through Viz comics in the 90's. The first issues released through them was following the movie almost line for line and then they released a sequel titles The Micronian Conspiracy which was another great series released by these masters of Manga.
