      Still working hard on issue two when time permits, I am hoping to release this book before summer begins. It has been hard being it is the busy season at work and my wife is expecting our first child or I should say children. Twins on the way so my time has been limited of late, I hope to have it out by early June and am really excited with the work I have put in so far. I am on the last push to finish up all pencil and inks and then onto colors and lettering. I will keep updating PsychoRelik as usual but updates may be scarce while I make the big push to the finish line.

Still working on the 2nd installment of Spell, just coming a little slower than the first and I do not in any way want to rush it. I think I owe it to my supports no matter how small my following is. The wait may be a little longer, but well worth it with the effort I am putting into the second issue of Spell.

Spell #2 Inks cont. and new shipment of books has arrived

     Working hard on Spell # 2, just wish I had a lot more time in the day to get it out faster. But in the end I know for a fact that issue #2 will be better in every way from the pencils, inks, color and color separation. The story will also be more involved with a lot more interaction between a growing cast. I am hoping to have a release date with in a month or so but as of now I do not want to give a launch date.

    Just got a new shipment of independent books (look below) I will start reviews sometime within the next week or so.  A nice batch of books, this is the reason I have always loved the creations by independent artists and writers.

Another inked page of Spell #2

     Another day, another page. I must admit I am not getting this issue done as fast as the first, the truth of the matter is issue one was out within three months from start to finish and really took a lot out of me. Two weeks of that time was shipping. I already have gauged that the art is already of a better quality from issue one and the colors should be even better now that I have acquired a drawing tablet. I was shooting for a late March release and I do not think I can meet that deadline without losing quality to this issue. I think sometime in April would be a more accurate target date. Can not wait to present the completed issue in all it's glory. I must vent and say I was able to put out a book, but I look over it and I know I could do so much more. This is the main reason for the delay. After purchasing other independent books and seeing how long the time between each issue shows me the extra time gives the artist the luxury of putting out the best product they are capable of producing. I rather a later release date then a book I am not fully thrilled about releasing. I wouldn't still be doing this after two years if it was not for the overwhelming support. I only did 150 copies of issue one of Spell and I was able to do more than break even, I actually made profit to put away for printing costs of the second issue. I must thank each and everyone who supports PsychoRelik Studios and myself. I would also like anyone that is a comic book artist contact me if they want to do a collaboration or just want to do a pin-up for next issue. I can not pay much, I can definitely give you a few copies of books. Plus it is always good to get the exposure, My site gets over 100 plus hits a day on a slow day and has gone over 300 hits on a good day.      I am working feverishly hard on the second issue of my creator own project and can say that I already know this book will be bigger and grander than the first issue released late November 2011.
